What is your dress code?

Semi- Formal. No shorts or flip flops for the Gents.

 

Can I bring my own Alcohol?

No, we have an amazing Award winning Wine and Spirit list that ranges in price and selection to suit everyone’s style and budget.

 

What time does the band start?

The band plays every Wednesday to Saturday from 7.30 until midnight. The vocalist only sings on Friday and Saturday evenings.

 

Can I just walk in, or do I need to make a reservation?

Week nights (Tuesday- Thursday), we can always accommodate a table that has not booked. Weekends get very busy with large functions/ special occasions or events and we get booked up in advance, so bookings are essential.

 

Are you Halaal?

No, our Kitchen is not Halaal certified.

 

Can I bring my own cake?

We encourage guests to enjoy our award winning desserts.

(Crème Brûlée won 1st prize in Gauteng and Panna Cotta 2nd place)

If you would like to bring a cake for a special occasion there will be a small corkage fee according to management’s discretion.

 

Can I bring my kids?

Priva is a fine dining, contemporary restaurant, so we do not offer kids entertainment or baby changing facilities, however if your kids are joining, please let the management know.

 

Do you need deposit for bigger groups?

Yes, for groups of 10 and more we need a deposit of R100 per person. Your Deposit will be deducted from your main bill on the day of your function. In case of no show and cancellation the deposit is non- refundable.

Can I bring my own decorations or do you do the decorations?

Yes, decorations (such as under-plates, runners, flowers, balloons, candles etc.) for a special evening is always welcome, you can come earlier in the day to set up too. We do not provide decorations.

Can we sit outside in winter?

Yes, our sky balcony area is heated and covered and has a wonderful atmosphere at night.
